His academic background and early career take root in international hospitality management. Beattie pursued his undergraduate education at the International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) in Adelaide, Australia, completing his hospitality practicums at premier global venues including The Westin Sydney and the Crown Promenade hotel in Melbourne. He later advanced his executive credentials by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the University of South Australia.
Following his graduation, Beattie relocated to East Asia and began his professional trajectory at the W Hong Kong, where he spent four and a half years mastering high-level client relations as the Welcome Relations Manager. Today, operating from Gough Recruitment's regional headquarters, Beattie serves as a trusted advisor to HR managers and line directors looking to fill specialized real estate assets. His strategic methodology relies heavily on metric-driven headhunting, data-backed talent sourcing, and an extensive network built over 13 years in the Asian market.
